  • Browser setup status and selected web services now flow directly back into the Mac setup experience.
  • Choral Connector requests access only when you enable a music website instead of asking for fixed website permissions during installation.

  • Spotify and Last.fm authorization tokens are now protected by macOS Keychain.
  • The floating player has a clearer, more dimensional Liquid Glass appearance with adaptive light and dark backgrounds.

Your browser becomes a music source.

  • New Choral Connector browser extension links web players to the desktop panel — starting with YouTube Music: artwork, controls, seeking, likes, shuffle and repeat.
  • Everything stays on your Mac: the extension talks only to the Choral app over a local connection.
  • Advertisements are never scrobbled to Last.fm.
  • Liquid Glass panel finish on macOS 26, and a restyled settings window.

Choral 0.6

July 9, 2026

Your listening history, kept in sync.

  • Last.fm integration: connect your account for now-playing updates and automatic scrobbling, with an offline queue for flaky networks.
  • Choose which music sources scrobble on the redesigned Accounts & Music settings page.

  • Time-synced lyrics in a side-by-side view.
  • Menu-bar quick controls, always-on-top window, light and dark appearance.
